Automechanika 2018 in Frankfurt
"We expect to see more changes in the aftermarket in the next five years than in the previous two decades", concluded Frank Schlehuber from CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers) at Automechanika Frankfurt this Monday. In his speech, Mr Schlehuber highlighted CLEPA's expectation of soon-to-come intense discussions of the total costs in the supply chain, which will ultimately redefine the go-to-market strategy of some suppliers. His expectations build on findings in the “Aftermarket 2025” study, commissioned from QVARTZ and Stern Stewart & Co. This extensive study is based on numerous expert interviews with decision makers from the automotive supplier’s industry, trade, OEM and insurance companies and investigates the effects on individual market participants.
