From no. 65 to world-class
Denmark needs to move from a bottom position to the top when it comes to welcoming new residents. Currently, Denmark ranks no. 65 out of 65 countries on the parameter “Ease of Settling in” in a recent report from Expat Insider. The newly established Welcome Alliance is working hard to change this. At the recent People´s Meeting on Bornholm, the alliance hosted a debate on how to make Denmark a country that is much better at welcoming the newcomers who want to take active part in society. QVARTZ participated in the debate together with the other co-founders Maersk, ISS, DGI, the Danish Red Cross Youth, International House Copenhagen and Nextstep by Bindslev. Check out the video.
