Is the current data legislation too rigid?

Public sector leaders in Denmark have trouble reusing personal data across various authorities. Often, citizens need to provide the same information several times. With a suggested new legislation in Denmark, personal data will become much more easily accessible – but perhaps also more vulnerable. Together with Microsoft, QVARTZ has spoken to 20 public sector leaders in Denmark who unanimously encourage increased data sharing.
