10,000 applicants

“We asked ourselves: What would happen if we gather the most brilliant young people from all over the world?”, says QVARTZ Junior Consultant Marcus Bruns, who together with a group of friends decided to take action after the Paris Agreement by starting an international innovation programme for people under 25 focusing on sustainability. The initiative, entitled Young Sustainable Impact, ended up receiving a whopping 10,000 applications for the 25 spots. The participants have been working on their sustainable solutions since April, and in a few days from now, they will present their products and ideas, all of which support one or several of the UN Sustainability targets.
