Detecting blind spots

Two 45 kg tanks of oxygen. A stellar map. Parachute silk to protect you from the sun’s rays. What would you bring on a Moon survival expedition? This was one of several mind-boggling questions answered by 25 students from Copenhagen Economics and Finance Association who visited our Copenhagen office last night. The theme of the evening was the fine art of decision-making. QVARTZ Engagement Partner Sophia Klages introduced the students to some of the cognitive biases that influence our judgement and decisions, often without us knowing it. Bearing this in mind, the students got to test their decision-making skills and ability to interpret information, both in groups and individually. A fun evening that revealed a few more blind spots than the students had imagined.
