A recent survey conducted by Trygfonden and Mandag Morgen shows that the majority of Danes are not satisfied with the services and products delivered by the health authorities. The results in Switzerland, which are used for comparison, are however reversed.
There, most people are satisfied with the health offerings and services. According to Hans Henrik Beck, managing partner in QVARTZ, the problem in Denmark is not monetary: “When the Danes display such a high degree of dissatisfaction, granting more money will not help. The organisation of the entire health sector is wrong”. The quote stems from an article in Mandag Morgen, taking its point of departure in the large survey examining Danes’ view on health authorities.
