QVARTZ establishes presence in Sweden

August 14, 2010

As part of QVARTZ’s Nordic expansion strategy, the company is now entering Sweden by integrating with the corporate advisory firm Kihlstedt & Partners. Thereby a solid foundation for continuous expansion in Sweden is established.

Earlier this year, Quartz Strategy Consultants and Copenhagen Consulting Company (CoCoCo) merged into QVARTZ, hereby creating one of the largest management consulting companies in Scandinavia
with offices in Copenhagen, Oslo and now also in Stockholm.

Dr Anders Adrem, managing partner in Kihlstedt & Partners, will become partner in QVARTZ and country manager of Sweden. Torbjörn Kihlstedt, chairman of the board and principal owner of Kihlstedt & Partners, will become vice chairman of the board in the parent company QVARTZ and will also continue his work in Kihlstedt & Partners.

“We look forward to building a solid platform from which we can establish a clear and strong position in the Swedish market and simultaneously offer our services in all of Scandinavia”, says Niels Reiff Koggersbøl, partner in QVARTZ.

“Based on my many years of experience in the consulting business, I consider QVARTZ an excellent environment for the further development of the management consulting business of Kihlstedt & Partners. QVARTZ offers a strong team with high competence and integrity and a flexible consulting model with many experienced senior consultants with deep industry insight”, says Torbjörn Kihlstedt.

“The ambition is clear. QVARTZ is set on becoming the leading management consulting company in the Nordic region. For the future, this means that we will continue to deliver superior quality and clear customer value in all situations, and moreover ensure an offensive expansion of the company”, says Dr Anders Adrem.
