Reaching out

This Friday, the Danish QVARTZ tribe spent a day at Center Sandholm, Denmark’s largest asylum centre and the first temporary home of all those seeking asylum in Denmark. Together with the residents and the Danish Red Cross, we arranged sports tournaments for the children, fixed and painted secondhand bikes, sorted heaps of clothes, blew soap bubbles in the kindergarten, planted flowers on the premises and prepared an outdoors BBQ for all. It was a powerful and humbling experience, and we would like to extend our thanks to all the people who joined in during the day. TV2 Lorry also paid Center Sandholm a visit, and briefly interviewed QVARTZ Co-founder Torsten Hvidt.
