A Swedish smorgasbord of art

Liljevalchs’ famous Spring Salon (Vårsalongen) presents a multitude of artworks: from embroidery to video installations, classic paintings and abstract sculptures – created by professional and amateurs alike. The tradition dates from 1921, and like always, everything is for sale. Some time ago, we invited our closest relations in Sweden to experience this year’s Spring Salon together with us. Accompanied by sweet jazz and refreshing champagne, we walked the halls together; amazed, appalled, amused, provoked and enchanted by the 295 pieces of art. Like many of our guests, the QVARTZ team bought a piece to ornament our Stockholm office. Thank you to all who came! We might just have kicked off a new tradition together.
