Two new partners at QVARTZ

Jens Friis Hjortegaard and Jens Buur Madsen are new partners in QVARTZ. They both joined our civilisation back in 2007, but apart from that and having the same first name, their background and careers have been quite different.

Jens Friis Hjortegaard specialises in commercial impact improvement. Over the past eight years, he has worked on projects across industries such as banking, telecommunications, construction, wind power, medtech as well as private equity. In addition to his MSc in Finance & Strategic Management, he holds a degree in Business Administration and Philosophy. He has also been an important part of building our Nordic employer branding community, ensuring that the local teams are aligned and exchange knowledge. Apart from his recently acquired partner status, he is newly married and just became a dad.

Jens Buur Madsen has been based in London with his girlfriend for the past three years. His primary focus has been the front end of the business as well as strategy and organisational development. In these domains, he has worked on more than +50 projects, mainly within FMCG, retail and energy, especially offshore wind. He holds a MEng in Industrial Management as well as an MSc in Finance and Business from Aston Business School in Birmingham. In addition, Jens has played an important role in building our internal Academy, and he runs a course in structured problem-solving and communication for our experienced consultants. Despite his eight years in QVARTZ, Jens still sees plenty of opportunities to learn: “As our business has grown and as you develop professionally, you discover that there’s always a next level. When you reach a new peak, you can see even further – that there are new things to master and opportunities to grow as a person.”
