QVARTZ DOGBITERS: for Diviya, it’s all about culture

When visiting the QVARTZ Copenhagen office for the first time, many pieces of the puzzle were slotted into place for Diviya Thomas, one of the pioneers of QVARTZ’ American venture. “I definitely sense the QVARTZ DNA and culture back at the NY office, but we don’t have a lot of the supporting infrastructure (such as regular Friday drinks or the MBTI profile board) yet”, she explains.

Diviya joined QVARTZ as a Senior Consultant in October, and has just spent a full week in Copenhagen getting to know the ins and outs of our civilisation. Now, she looks forward to bringing her new perspectives back to NY and helping to build and develop the office there.

Born and raised in India, Diviya started her career as an associate at Bloomberg’s first Indian office. Later, she moved to the US to do her MBA at the Wharton School. After a year-long stint at management consulting firm in New York, her path eventually led to QVARTZ. “I was excited by the opportunity to help write the New York chapter of this young dynamic civilisation”, she says. With her curious and driven personality, Diviya is always on the lookout for new challenges. Now, besides developing her consulting toolbox, focusing primarily on B2C retail operations, she is teaching herself a fifth (!) language. Way to go!
